U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Kristina Boettcher NCIOC of the 7306th Medical Training and Support Battalion, San Antonio, creates lifelike medical trauma on real patients using moulage materials to help the participants in the exercise react to various medical emergencies, during Global Medic at Fort McCoy, Wis., June 15, 2015. Sgt. 1st Class Boettcher applies mock injuries to Soldier for medical evacuation to be received by a clinic spontaneously. Global Medic is the premier medical field training event in the Department of Defense and is the only joint accredited exercise conceived, planned and executed by Army Reserve Soldiers.
