DEFENDER 25 Outreach tour

DEFENDER is the Army’s largest annual opportunity to exercise moving personnel and equipment into theater across modes for initial and follow-on operations critical to Large Scale Combat Operations. Led by U.S. Army Europe and Africa, the exercise focuses on the strategic deployment of CONUS-based forces, employment of Army Prepositioned Stock and follow-on exercises demonstrating lethality and interoperability with Allies and partners

Greenfield High School's California Cadet Corps, known as the 'Fighting Bruins,' recently completed a training session at Fort Hunter Liggett's obstacle course. During the visit, cadets engaged in Army Combat Fitness Training (ACFT) and enjoyed a meal at the installation's dining facility. This hands-on experience provided valuable insights into the physical demands of military service, aligning with the core objectives of the California Cadet Corps: leadership development, citizenship, patriotism, academic excellence, basic military knowledge, and promotion of health, fitness, and wellness. FHL extends its sincere gratitude to the Greenfield High School California Cadet Corps for visiting the installation, and we look forward to many more visits from the cadets in the near future.
