U.S. Soldiers, assigned to the 2nd Cavalry Regiment, receive awards for winning the regimental competitions for Best Soldier, Best Noncommissioned Officer, and Best Officer of the Year at the Reed Museum on Rose Barracks, Vilseck, Germany, Aug. 23, 2024. U.S. Army Spc. Frank Gamboa won Best Soldier, Sgt. Marcello Walton won Best NCO, and 1st Lt. Dylan W. Vaughn won Best Officer.
