The Military Health Research Symposium honors Dr. Lynette Hamlin, Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs at the USU Graduate School of Nursing for her research on Women's Health.

Dr. Lynette Hamlin is widely recognized for her innovative contributions to military women's health research. Her research efforts have significantly elucidated the unique health needs of active-duty service women (ADSW) through prior and current research. As the inaugural Director of the Uniformed Services University Military Women’s Health Research Program, Dr. Hamlin's leadership is advancing research that directly supports the wellbeing of ADSW and women veterans, directly informs policy formation, and drives evidence-based healthcare improvements for this population. Her outstanding leadership in military women's health research make her an ideal recipient of the Outstanding Research Accomplishment Award (Individual/Academic).
