Resolute Dragon 23.1 Teaser
III Marine Expeditionary Force

U.S. Marines with III Marine Expeditionary Force and members of the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force will participate in Exercise Resolute Dragon 23.1 at various locations around Japan, July 2023. RD 23.1 is the first 2023 iteration of the annual exercise between III MEF and the JGSDF Western Army, and will feature a command post exercise followed by a field training exercise. Exercises like Resolute Dragon 23.1 strengthen international partnerships, mutual security, and the ability to rapidly respond to crises throughout the Indo-Pacific.
