DEFENDER 25 Outreach tour

DEFENDER is the Army’s largest annual opportunity to exercise moving personnel and equipment into theater across modes for initial and follow-on operations critical to Large Scale Combat Operations. Led by U.S. Army Europe and Africa, the exercise focuses on the strategic deployment of CONUS-based forces, employment of Army Prepositioned Stock and follow-on exercises demonstrating lethality and interoperability with Allies and partners

Soldiers assigned to 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and Polish 6th Airborne Brigade perform static line and free fall parachute jump near Krakow, Poland May 13-15, 2024. The United States, U.S. Forces, and particularly Special Operations Command Europe enjoy a long-term, generational, and enduring relationship with Polish special forces. Shared training between nations builds strong and strategic relationships, improves interoperability, and demonstrates both nations’ ability to rapidly deploy combat credible forces for timely and coordinated response when needed.
