U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 15, Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB), conduct roadway maintenance operations in Yuma, Ariz., Sept. 15, 2025. Roadway maintenance and improvement operations strike a balance between enhancing mobility and preserving environmental integrity to ensure safe and reliable travel for U.S. Border Patrol, U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Department of War personnel. JTF-SB executes full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations in support of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to protect the territorial integrity of the United States and achieve 100% operational control of the southern border.
