DEFENDER 25 Outreach tour

 

 

DEFENDER is the Army’s largest annual opportunity to exercise moving personnel and equipment into theater across modes for initial and follow-on operations critical to Large Scale Combat Operations. Led by U.S. Army Europe and Africa, the exercise focuses on the strategic deployment of CONUS-based forces, employment of Army Prepositioned Stock and follow-on exercises demonstrating lethality and interoperability with Allies and partners

Soldiers from the U.S. Army’s Charlie Company, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, along with soldiers from eight NATO nations, participated in exercise Triglav Star 24, a multinational mountaineering warfare exercise based in Bohinjska, Slovenia from Sept. 24 to Oct 13, 2024. This exercise demonstrated the capabilities of partner allied nations working together in an alpine environment further building the interoperability between nations. (U.S. Army video by Sgt.
