High school teachers, coaches, and media representatives from the Chicago, Indianapolis, St. Louis, and Oklahoma City areas participate in the week-long Educators’ Workshop at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Calif., July 16, 2024. On day one, the attendees experience the yellow footprints and a mock pick-up, conduct a Combat Fitness Test, attend a Marine Band San Diego performance, and observe a Marine Corps Martial Arts Program demonstration and a Provost Marshal’s Office K-9 demonstration. EWS is designed to inform high school educators, community leaders, and communication professionals about the commitment and benefits of service in the U.S. Marine Corps.
