The Department of the Air Force’s World Class Athlete Program allows Airmen and Guardians the opportunities to train full-time in their athletic discipline with a goal of earning a spot on Team USA in the Summer or Winter Olympic Games. WCAP was established in 1995 and is managed by the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center’s Air Force Services Center. AFIMSC public affairs specialist Brian Goddin introduces us to some of the current Summer WCAP Airmen and shows us the training and determination that could propel them to Paris in the summer of 2024.
