USAG Fort Hamilton
May 6, 2023 | 2:50
As part April’s Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM) events, a Teal String Art lunch and learn event was held at the USAG Fort Hamilton Chapel, on April 20th, 2023.

Garrison Workforce employees had the opportunity to create art using string dipped in teal paint, as part of the garrison’s civilian and military communities’ month-long recognition of (SAAPM).

The Department of Defense observes SAAPM by focusing on creating the appropriate culture to eliminate sexual assault and requiring a personal commitment from all Service members. (U.S. Army video by Mark Getman, Fort Hamilton Public Affairs)
