The Civilian Marksmanship Program’s 2024 National Matches First Shot Ceremony, which symbolizes the official start of the annual matches, kicked off Monday, July 15 at Camp Perry Joint Training Center in Port Clinton, Ohio. The National Matches attract hundreds of service members and civilians to complete in elite-level pistol and rifle competitions for several weeks each summer.
