Brig. Gen. David B. Johnson, Ohio assistant adjutant general for Air, was promoted to major general during a ceremony at the Maj. Gen. Robert S. Beightler Armory in Columbus, Ohio, Jan. 8, 2025. In his position, Johnson is responsible for directing operations and ensuring the mission readiness of more than 4,700 Ohio Air National Guard personnel assigned to four wings and multiple geographically separated units.
