U.S. Army 1st Lieutenant Jakob Richardson, a platoon leader for C Battery, 6th Battalion, 56th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, describes his personal dedication to his military service in front of a Medium-Short Range Air Defense system vehicle, colloquially referred to as a Stryker. Richardson chose to serve in the Army to continue his family’s legacy of military service, and he enjoys the chance to lead and train his platoon in air defense strategy for the 1st Cavalry Division.
