Carida Godby, the command career counselor for the 20th Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosives (CBRNE) Command, describes her reason for joining the U.S. Army, her affinity for helping Soldiers and how the decision to become a career counselor was the best career decision she ever made. Godby, a 21-year veteran and an Anaheim, California native, was officially promoted to sergeant major, March 3, on Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.
