DEFENDER is the Army’s largest annual opportunity to exercise moving personnel and equipment into theater across modes for initial and follow-on operations critical to Large Scale Combat Operations. Led by U.S. Army Europe and Africa, the exercise focuses on the strategic deployment of CONUS-based forces, employment of Army Prepositioned Stock and follow-on exercises demonstrating lethality and interoperability with Allies and partners

(June 10, 2024) – U.S. Navy SEALs and a Special Warfare Combat Crewman (SWCC) escort Chad Berger, a member of the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) community, to center stage of the Days of 76 Arena before a PBR event. Naval Special Warfare Assessment Command was at the event as part of a public outreach campaign. Naval Special Warfare is the nation's elite maritime special operations force, uniquely positioned to extend the Fleet's reach and gain and maintain access for the Joint Force in competition and conflict.
