Geoff Laney, instructor, Marine Corps Engineer School, Training Command, competes in the 2024 Strongman Corporation National Championships in Greenville, South Carolina, Sept. 20 to 21, 2024. Laney, North Carolina’s Strongest Man, has won seven Strongman competitions, set seven world records and has competed in regional, state and national level competitions in the U.S. and in Okinawa, Japan while advocating for more Marines to participate in the sport.
