The 77th Theater Aviation Brigade received the first of it’s six new Black Hawk helicopters, a HH-60M “Mike” aeromedical evacuation helicopter, May 31, 2023.

Lt. Col. Melissa Shipman, operations officer, 77th Theater Aviation Brigade, recently returned from a six-week aircraft qualification transition course on the new Black Hawk at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania. She explains the capabilities and advantages the new MEDEVAC Black Hawk will bring to the Arkansas National Guard.
