U.S. Marines with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), are evaluated by Expeditionary Operations Training Group (EOTG), II Marine Expeditionary Force, as they participate in urban terrain training during Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, June 2, 2023. EOTG organized COMPTUEX as part of the 26th MEU’s final phase of the pre-deployment training to ensure their Marines and Sailors, in partnership with their Navy teammates, are ready to serve as a formidable deterrent capable of performing missions across a full range of military operations from the sea.
