Soldiers assigned to the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) attend a battlefield tour and parade at the 80th Battle of Bastogne Commemoration, Dec. 12-14, 2024. During the battle, elements of the 101st Airborne Division held off an advance into the city by a much larger German force. 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Soldiers traveled to Bastogne to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge and to honor the heroes and veterans that fought there.
