Commander of 7th Mission Support Command suspended

KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany -- The commanding general of 7th Mission Support Command, Brig. Gen. Michael Harvey, was suspended June 2, pending the outcome of an investigation.

The investigation does not involve criminal activity or safety.

The deputy commanding officer of 21st Theater Sustainment Command, Col. Douglas A. LeVien, is the acting commander.

No further information will be released until the investigation is complete.

The 7th MSC is American's Army Reserve forward based mission command headquarters in Europe providing motivated, trained and deployable Soldiers in 26 proficient and cohesive units-of-action in support of U.S. Army Europe and 21st Theater Sustainment Command.
