WIESBADEN, Germany —

Germany - U.S. Army Europe invites members of the press to participate in a media event at 9:00 a.m., March 4, at the Regional Movement Coordination Center and the Joint Security Coordination Center on Panzer Kaserne. 

The purpose of the RMCC is to de-conflict, coordinate, enforce and manage all movements of forces supporting DEFENDER-Europe 20. The RMCC will be led by a German officer and will consist of representatives from Denmark, Germany, Netherlands and United States. Concurrently, the JSCC will coordinate with allies and partners to coordinate and maintain a secure environment.

Members of the media will have the opportunity to observe how the RMCC and JSCC allow the U.S. military to to cohesively work alongside our allies and partners. The event will include a question-and-answer period with U.S. and German military leaders.
