U.S. Army Europe invites members of the press to participate in upcoming DEFENDER-Europe 20 media events. Below you will find a list of major anticipated media events, all of which are still in the planning phase and subject to change. This is not an all-encompassing list, rather intended to provide media with planning information. Journalists interested in covering DEFENDER-Europe 20 should email USArmyEurope.MediaDesk@mail.mil. U.S Army Europe will release media advisories for each event as dates and details become finalized.
February
- Vessel arrival at Bremerhaven, Germany – Arrival of ships carrying military equipment from stateside units
- Equipment draw at Zuteendaal, Belgium – Draw and movement of Army Prepositioned Stock for stateside units
- Convoy activities – several opportunities to speak with Soldiers involved in convoy operations across Germany

- Regional Movement Control Center Media Day at Kaiserslautern, Germany – View logistics operations
- Vessel arrival at Vlissingen, Netherlands – Arrival of ships carrying military equipment from stateside units
- Vessel arrival at Antwerp, Belgium – Arrival of ships carrying military equipment from stateside units
April
- Soldier arrivals – various units from the U.S. arriving at a German airport
- Equipment draw at Bergen-Hohne Training Area, Germany – Draw and movement of Army Prepositioned Stock for stateside units
- Combined Arms Live Fire Exercise – live exercises at Bergen-Hohne Training Area, Germany
- Linked exercise Swift Response Media Day – observe multinational airborne operations in multiple countries

- Linked exercise Saber Strike Media Day – observe live exercises with Marines in Estonia
- Linked exercise Allied Spirit Media Day – View multinational river crossing operations in Poland
- Suwalki corridor operations - View multinational operations in Lithuania
- Mass Casualty Exercise – Medical personnel conduct mass casualty simulation across the region

DEFENDER-Europe 20 demonstrates the U.S. military's ability to rapidly deploy a large combat-credible force from the U.S. to Europe to support NATO and respond to a crisis. Once in Europe, U.S. service members will spread out across the region to participate in various annual exercises with our allies and partners.
