WIESBADEN, Germany —
U.S. Army Europe invites members of the press to participate in a media event 2 p.m., Feb. 10, at Coleman Work Site in Mannheim, Germany. Media will have the opportunity to observe the loading and preparations of equipment stored at the Army Prepositioned Stock site in support of Defender-Europe 20.
Track and wheeled vehicles, as well as other equipment began moving via rail and line-haul from Mannheim, Germany, in late January and will continue through February. APS is a program that supports the U.S. National Military Strategy by strategically prepositioning critical equipment worldwide, thus reducing the deployment response times.
Media interested in attending must provide the following information to USArmyEurope.MediaDesk@mail.mil by Friday, Feb. 7, at 3 p.m.:
