Armored brigade convoys to Germany in support of Combine Resolve XI

ZAGAN, Poland —

 

Elements of the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team “Ironhorse,” 1st Cavalry Division have begun movement from Zagan, Poland, and Novo Selo Training Area, Bulgaria, to Hohenfels Training Area, Germany, to take part in exercise Combined Resolve XI.

Residents near and between these locations may see an increase of convoys carrying more than 700 tracked and wheeled vehicles, such as M1A2 Abrams tanks, Bradley Fighting Vehicles, and wheeled vehicles, traveling on their roads, highways and railways.

The Ironhorse brigade will participate in Combined Resolve XI, a joint, multinational training exercise, where they will focus on unified land operations and developing and enhancing interoperability with NATO allies and partner nations.
