LOGCAP provides base life support to Flintlock 25, African Lion 25 exercises
The 405th Army Field Support Brigade’s Logistics Civil Augmentation Program is simultaneously supporting two exercises on the continent of Africa this month. LOGCAP is providing over two dozen base life support services to U.S. servicemembers and nearly 40 partner nations participating in Flintlock 25 in the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire and over a dozen base life support services to U.S. servicemembers and about 20 partner nations participating in African Lion 25 in Tunisia.

African Lion 25: Largest US-led military exercise in Africa kicks off across four nations
U.S. Africa Command’s premier annual exercise, officially kicks off April 14, 2025, in Tunisia, with activities in Ghana, Senegal, and Morocco beginning in May. With more than 10,000 troops from over 40 nations — including seven NATO allies — this year’s iteration will be the largest in the exercise’s history.

Soldiers live fire FPV drones in Germany
Soldiers conducted a live fire of first-person view drones for the first time at the Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, Feb. 17-20, 2025. Although drones have been incorporated into training for years, this event combined FPV drones with live munitions in a series of live fire flights, all within range safety standards. The success is a result of collaboration between U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, 7th Army Training Command, Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine and the 173rd Airborne Brigade.
