U.S. Army NATO brought 20 Soldiers from 14 units based in NATO countries to Sembach Kaserne in Germany for three days of human resources training on HR systems and data analytics Sept. 4-6. The participants came from Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Türkiye and the United States to train on project management automation tools that facilitate data analytics and data visualization.

Exercise Avenger Triad 24 is a computer assisted command post exercise designed to demonstrate USAREUR-AF’s ability to exercise mission command of U.S. and NATO forces, while also employing Army 2030 future capabilities. This exercise rehearses the NATO Regional Plan-Center with assigned units, while integrating lessons learned from Austere Challenge 24. NATO operational concepts, doctrine and procedures will be implemented at scale for the first time in the USAREUR-AF headquarters, allowing the headquarters to identify capability gaps and process opportunities by warfighting function, between U.S., NATO and host nation forces. This will be the first time USAREUR-AF will exercise its ability to lead one U.S. and five NATO Corps during simulated large scale combat operations.

U.S. Army John Moriarity explains 52D Air Defense Artillery Brigade’s role in the upcoming Avenger Triad 2024 exercise. Avenger Triad 2024 is a computer assisted command post exercise designed to demonstrate USAREUR-AF’s ability to mission command U.S. and NATO forces, while also employing Army 2030 future capabilities. This exercise rehearses the NATO Regional Plan-Center with assigned units, while integrating lessons learned from previous exercises. Occurring in multiple locations accross Europe, 52D ADA will exercise its role as the air defense coordinator for V Corps. The exercise will involve 2,000 U.S. participants from the U.S., and 2,000 multi-national participants from France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Netherlands and Poland. Finally, this exercise aims to experiment and assess Army 2030 Force Structure and capabilities in which air defense artillery plays a crucial role.
