In this AFN Europe Report:
U.S. Soldiers with 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, executed urban environment close-quarters combat training at Novo Selo Training Area, Bulgaria.
More than 1,500 U.S. Soldiers, civilians and allied partners from across Europe, participated in Avenger Triad 25, a multi-national command post training exercise hosted by U.S. Army V Corps.
Are you ready for the European Entry/Exit System?
The Entry/Exit System (EES) is an automated IT system for registering non-EU nationals travelling for a short stay, each time they cross the external borders. EES will capture biometric data, such as fingerprints, facial image, and other travel information, gradually replacing the current system of passport stamping.

Michael Whiteside, and Sgt. 1st Class Crage Notice, all assigned to 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, discuss modern counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) technology and the testing of the devices during Project Flytrap at Joint Multinational Readiness Center, Hohenfels Training Area, Hohenfels, Germany, June 22, 2025. The Soldiers completed a three-week training mission which included learning about different C-UAS technology, learning how to use the C-UAS technology, and then implementing the devices into simulated combat scenarios.
