Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.
 
Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

Iraqi Counter Terrorism Service (CTS) Academy students participate in “Hero Week” in Baghdad, Iraq Oct. 22-28, 2019. Hero Week is an Iraqi-lead initiative to instill bravery and confidence in CTS students. Events included jumping through fire hoops, traversing obstacles, crossing water hazards, and more. The Coalition and our Iraqi partners continue to build their capability to achieve an enduring defeat of Daesh, which clearly demonstrates the Iraqi commitment to providing security and stability for their home country.
