Agile Spirit

 

Agile Spirit is a biennial exercise aimed at enhancing multinational interoperability and readiness for collective defense operations. Conducted in Turkiye and Georgia, it brings together U.S. forces, NATO Allies, and partner nations to focus on maneuver training, logistics coordination, and multinational command and control. The exercise strengthens NATO partnerships and supports regional stability in Eastern Europe.

The 2ABCT, 1AD Soldiers are in Poland to test their unit readiness as part of an emergency deployment readiness exercise. About 1,500 Soldiers will deploy to Europe in support of the exercise to test the U.S. Army's ability to rapidly alert, recall, and deploy under emergency conditions.

U.S. forces deployed to Europe in support of Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise Dynamic Force Deployment is evidence of the strong and unremitting U.S. commitment to NATO and Europe. Through continuous, multinational training and security cooperation activities, the exercise builds readiness, increases interoperability and enhances the bond between ally and partner militaries.
