Agile Spirit

 

Agile Spirit is a biennial exercise aimed at enhancing multinational interoperability and readiness for collective defense operations. Conducted in Turkiye and Georgia, it brings together U.S. forces, NATO Allies, and partner nations to focus on maneuver training, logistics coordination, and multinational command and control. The exercise strengthens NATO partnerships and supports regional stability in Eastern Europe.

Captain Victor J. Glover, Jr. was selected as an Eagle for his numerous contributions to air and space. He is a NASA astronaut, a Navy F-18/AF Test Pilot, and pilot for NASA’s SpaceX Crew-1 mission, the first crew rotational flight of a U.S. commercial spacecraft with astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS) from November 15, 2020 to May 2, 2021. He is the first African American with a long duration stay on the ISS. He completed 168 days in orbit and participated in four spacewalks. CAPT Glover is also selected as an Artemis mission team member for the return to the moon. (U.S. Air Force video by Billy Blankenship)
