U.S. Army Lt. Col. Vernon Logan, a Planner and Acquisition Program Manager, U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SeTAF-AF) talks about being a finalist at the tenth iteration of the XVIII Airborne Corps' Dragon's Lair Competition. Dragon's Lair X, held in Stuttgart, Germany, Sept. 6, 2024, Dragon's Lair brings an opportunity to unlock new ideas for the advancement of the U.S. military and bring fresh perspectives aimed to meet current and future challenges through optimization, modernization, and transformation. U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) stands ready to deploy, fight, win and respond to crises. With a focus on Africa, SETAF-AF provides U.S. Africa Command and U.S. Army Europe and Africa a dedicated headquarters to synchronize Army activities in Africa and scalable crisis-response options in Africa and Europe, poised to respond to any contingency.
