Alaska-based U.S Army “Spartan Brigade” paratroopers with 3rd Battalion, 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, worked with Australian Defence Force soldiers with 1st Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, during urban assault training at Exercise Talisman Sabre 21 in Townsville Field Training Area, Queensland, Australia, July 29, 2021. TS21 is Australia’s largest military exercise with the U.S. and is a demonstration of the strong alliance underpinned by deep levels of cooperation and trust built over decades of operating and training together. Army forces provide key enablers such as multi-nodal logistics, Army watercraft systems and rapidly-deployable multi-domain forces that are tailorable to a wide range of missions and contingencies.
