Aaron Hiatt, the executive officer of 838th Transportation Battalion, provides insight into port operations and the operations of 1st Battalion, 9th Cavalry Regiment, during port operations in Riga, Latvia, October 16, 2019. The cargo ship arrived bringing 318 pieces of equipment that will be transported to various locations across the European theater to begin 1-9 Cavalry's nine month rotation.
