"The Servant" by James Hunter,
3 Spiritually Fit Benefits
Deeper happiness- when we do things for others, good deeds regardless of how big or small it feels good to the heart.
Enhances our self-esteem and self-confidence- when we extend ourselves to others, and they gratefully respond, it feels like a big accomplishment.
Stress Management- There are studies that suggest if you want less stress, help others. By helping others we take care of our spiritual needs.
You can find more information about that book on the 2017 Air Force Reading List. For questions or comments please contact Chaplain Dixon at tara.dixon.3@us.af.mil. you can also reach TSgt Schaefer, Chaplain Assistant at robert.schaefer.3@us.af.mil.
