(B-Roll) Civil Affairs Team meet with the Chief of Police

Soldiers with the 71st Theater Information Operations Group, based in Austin Texas and from the 321st Civil Affairs Brigade out of Fort Sam Houston, and assigned to Operation Beyond the Horizon 2018, El Salvador meet with the La Paz municipality and the El Salvador Chief of Police, at the Police headquarters in Zacatecoluca May 8, 2018. They discussed the current and future safety of the Municipality. The CA team is responsible for coordinating with local officials and communicating with the population surrounding American Humanitarian operations in the province. While U.S. Security forces are partnered with the Salvadoran Army in protecting service members in their Forward Operating Base and work sites the local police will continue to provide security in the area as well as the Medical Readiness Exercises BTS is set to conduct with the local population.
