US Army Europe Best Warrior Logo

U.S. Army Europe and Africa, along with our NATO and Partner Allies, annually host a Tank Challenge. This training event is designed to give participating nations a dynamic and productive environment in which to foster military partnerships, form Soldier-level relationships, and share tactics, techniques and procedures.
 
The European International Tank Challenge was formerly known as the Strong Europe Tank Challenge. Images, video and stories that are older will appear under that name further down the timeline.

U.S. Marines and Sailors with the Wasp (WSP) Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) – 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), participate in defense of amphibious task force training aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS New York (LPD 21) while the WSP ARG conducts a simulated strait transit during Composite Unit Training (COMPTUEX), while underway in the Atlantic Ocean, April 26, 2024. The WSP ARG-24th MEU is conducting COMPTUEX, their final at-sea certification exercise under the evaluation of Carrier Strike Group 4 and Expeditionary Operations Training Group. Throughout COMPTUEX, the WSP ARG-24th MEU is evaluated across a spectrum of scenarios that determine their readiness to deploy. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Sgt. Jacqueline Peguero-Montes)
