Swift Response 25 demonstrates multinational power projection and the expansion of critical capabilities on the battlefield in the High North and Baltics through airborne jumps and integration of technology in support of the Army Modernization Strategy and DoD Arctic Strategy. Swift Response 25 involves five near-simultaneous airborne insertions, HIRAIN training, a field hospital exercise and live fires conducted with NATO networks in Norway, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden and Finland from May 11 – 31, 2025.

U.S. Air Force Col. William Parker, U.S. Forces Korea assistant chief of staff, speaks to U.S. Army Sgt. Caitlin Wilkins, American Forces Network Humphreys broadcaster “DJ Caitie" about the Living Pattern Survey (LPS) survey at Camp Humphreys, South Korea, Oct. 10, 2024. Parker talked about how the survey is designed to ensure military members assigned to overseas locations receive a Overseas Cost of Living Allowance (OCOLA) that helps them maintain the purchasing power they would have stateside. The survey is now available online and the results will factor into the overall COLA rate.
