Swift Response 25 demonstrates multinational power projection and the expansion of critical capabilities on the battlefield in the High North and Baltics through airborne jumps and integration of technology in support of the Army Modernization Strategy and DoD Arctic Strategy. Swift Response 25 involves five near-simultaneous airborne insertions, HIRAIN training, a field hospital exercise and live fires conducted with NATO networks in Norway, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden and Finland from May 11 – 31, 2025.

Charles A. Williams, Jr., assistant secretary of the Navy for Energy, Installation and Environment, leads a tour of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River, July 14 and July 15, 2020 along with Maj. Gen. Edward D. Banta, commanding general, Marine Corps Installations Command and Rear Adm. John W. Korka, commander, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Chief of Civil Engineers They were joined for portions of the tour by Congressman Greg Murphy, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from North Carolina’s 3rd Congressional District, The visit to MCB Camp Lejeune and MCAS New River allowed military and state leadership to receive an update on military construction from installation leaders and view hurricane related repairs to facilities and family housing currently in progress.
