Suicide Awareness
305th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment
Sept. 13, 2025 | 0:43
September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month—a time to come together, reflect, and take action. At the 9th Mission Support Command, we stand united in supporting suicide prevention, because saving lives starts with each of us. Suicide prevention is not about checking a box; it’s about caring for one another, building strong connections, and breaking the stigma around asking for help. Just as we commit to never leaving a comrade behind on the battlefield, we carry that same promise into our daily lives—by watching out for signs of struggle, listening with compassion, and connecting people to support. This month, we encourage everyone to take time to check in with yourself and those around you. A simple conversation can make all the difference. Together, we can bring hope, strengthen resilience, and save lives. (U.S. Army video by Specialist Zaida Gonzalez )
