Germany

In Germany, the U.S. Army Europe and Africa Provost Marshall serves as the Customs Executive Agent. The Customs Executive Agency, in support of the USAREUR-AF PM, utilizing the customs mission operator, the U.S. Army Customs Agency – Europe, consists of a headquarters concentrated on Customs Services, Enforcement (Investigations), Agriculture Pre-Clearance, Customs Policy related to the NATO SOFA, and supervision of customs field offices in the Balkans, Black Sea, and the Army and Air Force community in Germany. For more information, visit the CEA SharePoint page (CAC required).

Greece, Italy and Spain

Netherlands

Customs controls for U.S. forces in the Netherlands is governed by AE 550-35 and overseen by U.S. Army Garrison Benelux.

Agriculture

The Customs Executive Agency also serves as the proponent for operational management and technical supervision of the U.S. European Command's Customs and Border Clearance Agency Programs. Duty Free DoD Cargo

U.S. European Command J-4 is responsible for movement and customs clearance of duty-free DoD cargo (official consignments) into, within, and out of Europe. This cargo is to be used in an official capacity by U.S. Forces stationed in Europe. The custodial agent for management of the duty free U.S. Forces Form 302 customs program European Deployment and Distribution Operations Center International Commercial Transportation Branch (ECJ4-EDDOC-ICTB).
