Six Airmen attend the C-130H Weapons Instructor Course (WIC) at Rosecrans Air National Guard Base, St. Joseph, Mo., Feb. 26, 2016. The C-130H WIC is a detachment of the 29th Weapons Squadron based out of Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. It is a five and a half month long tactics and leadership course for pilots and navigators in the Air Force and Air National Guard. It is part of the U.S. Air Force Weapons School. Soldiers live fire FPV drones in Germany

Soldiers conducted a live fire of first-person view drones for the first time at the Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, Feb. 17-20, 2025. Although drones have been incorporated into training for years, this event combined FPV drones with live munitions in a series of live fire flights, all within range safety standards. The success is a result of collaboration between U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, 7th Army Training Command, Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine and the 173rd Airborne Brigade.
