Allies Spirit

Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.

Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

MFE - Mobile Field Exchanges/Disaster Support Capabilities
Army & Air Force Exchange Service HQ
Jan. 21, 2020 | 3:48
This Mobile Field Exchange or MFE, exemplifies the Exchange’s mission of going where the troops go, regardless of location or conditions.
The Exchange does what it can to serve the needs of the community, especially in times of disaster.
The MFE is an “Exchange on wheels,” a 53-foot trailer, stocked with emergency supplies, toiletries, snacks, drinks and basic necessities. It’s fully stocked to support a steady stream of service members and first responders. 24 hours a day.
The units are deployed to locations that are struck by natural disasters. And often deployed to nearby Military bases before a disaster strikes, so that they will be ready afterwards.
The MFE’s are there to give the Soldier, Airman, National Guard and First Responder a taste of home and basic items while on the ground.
