Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.
 
Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

U.S. Marines with Marine Corps Security Force Regiment participate in Martial Arts Instructor (MAI) Course 101-22 at Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown, Virginia, Oct. 22 - Nov. 5, 2021. MAI Course 101-21 is a three-week long course incorporating practical application of Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) techniques in various environments to ensure Marines have one mind, any weapon. MAIs are capable of training Marines in MCMAP, a combative program incorporating close-quarters combat tactics, warrior ethos and weapons of opportunity. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Lance Cpl.
