Allies Spirit

Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.

Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

CHAMPAIN, IL. (Aug. 28, 2019) - Installation systems, buildings and structures, training and lands, the Warfighter, emergency response infrastructure and more are all part of the Construction Engineering Research Laboratory's present day missions. CERL's original mission was tightly focused on vertical construction. Presently, at a time of rapid transition within the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Army, CERL is increasingly poised to create unique impacts across the homeland, cantonment and contingency operations through innovative research. One of seven laboratories belonging to the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center, CERL was dedicated in July 1969. Today CERL celebrates its 50th Anniversary.
