Hawaii National Guard Hosts Large Scale Multiple Agency Exercise

Honolulu International Airport - The Hawaii National Guard’s 93rd Weapons of Mass Destruction - Civil Support Team, hosted a large scale multiple agency disaster response exercise today. This years Kai Malu O Hawaii focused on an incident at Honolulu International Airport and included participation with agencies from the City and County, State, Military, and Federal levels. The exercise focused on protecting the Honolulu International airport, a critical piece of infrastructure, after an aircraft carrying a potential threat lands at Honolulu international Airport. Soldiers live fire FPV drones in Germany

Soldiers conducted a live fire of first-person view drones for the first time at the Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, Feb. 17-20, 2025. Although drones have been incorporated into training for years, this event combined FPV drones with live munitions in a series of live fire flights, all within range safety standards. The success is a result of collaboration between U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, 7th Army Training Command, Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine and the 173rd Airborne Brigade.
